With this short letter, I would like to summarize our work and thereby celebrate the International Day of Democracy. This day has an even greater significance during the pandemic, which has become one of the most significant factors in the decline of democracy, rising authoritarianism and increased polarization.
On February 24, 2021, the EECMD organized an online presentation of the Consul Software for the representatives of political parties.
In January, at the initiative of the EECMD, the third meetings of the political dialogue format were held in five cities of Georgia.
Prior to 2020 Parliamentary Elections, in September-October, EECMD Democracy Schools hosted representatives of the political parties running in the elections.
The Eastern European Centre for Multiparty Democracy (EECMD), with the financial support of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), carries out a new project.
