Levan Tsutskiridze

Levan Tsutskiridze is the Executive Director of EECMD. Before he joined the NIMD/EECMD Levan worked as the Rector of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA). Earlier, he was the Project Manager for the reform of the Georgian civil registration system. In his earlier career, Levan served at the OSCE and with Open Society Foundation in Georgia.

Levan Tsutskiridze graduated from the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). His research and professional interests are in foreign and security affairs, political institution building and democratic development.

Salome Mukhuradze

Salome Mukhuradze works as a Senior Program Officer for the Political Party Assistance Program. Through her career at State Organs, local NGOs and an International Organizations, Salome was actively engaged in the elaboration of successful ways to implement a democratic model for the civic society in Georgia. She also worked as an invited lecturer of Public International Law and the Law of International Organizations at the Georgian Technical University.

Salome Mukhuradze has successfully graduated from the Tbilisi State University with the Bachelor and Master Degree in Public International Law. She also holds the Master Degree in Intercultural Conflict Management from the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences, Berlin.

Nino Khitarishvili

Nino Khitarishvili works as a Senior Program Officer for the Democracy Education program at the Eastern European Centre for Multiparty Democracy. Before joining the EECMD, during 2012-2017 years, she worked for the non-governmental organization International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy. In 2010-2011 years, she did an internship at the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, while during 2011-2012 she was the  Parliamentary Program  Fellow of the National Democratic Institute. In 2017, Nino participated in the Professional Fellows Program and completed the fellowship at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, United States.

Nino Khitarishvili graduated from Ivane Javakishvili Tbilisi State University with the major in International Relations. She also holds the Master Degree in International Relations from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs.

Maia Machavariani

Maia Machavariani works as a Senior Programs Coordinator at the Eastern European Centre for Multiparty Democracy (EECMD). In 2013-2015 she led the South Caucasus Regional Programme at the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD). In 2012-2013 Maia worked at MSI Georgia, Good Governance in Georgia (G3) Program under USAID Contract in the Outreach Department.

Maia is a PhD Candidate at Dublin City University with a major in political science. Maia has recently completed her PhD visiting research fellowships at Harvard University (2018) and Oxford Brookes University (2017). Maia holds Master Degree in International Relations and European Studies from Metropolitan University Prague and Bachelor and Master Degree in Turkish Language and Literature from Free University of Tbilisi.

Shorena Joel

Shorena Joel is the Finance and Administrative Officer at EECMD. Before this assignment, she worked as the Finance and Administration Officer at United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in Georgia – UNFAO during 2009-2015.

She also worked at IREX/IATP as a County Coordinator for Georgia in 2006-2007 and as a Training Program Officer at IREX Media Innovations Program – USAID funded project during 2005-2006.

In 2007/2008 she received a governmental scholarship from the Cyprus Planning Bureau and obtained the MBA from the Cyprus University. She also holds the Master’s degree in Oriental Studies (1990–1995) as a graduate of the Tbilisi State University.

Nino Kochiashvili

Nino Kochiashvili works as a Financial Assistant/Accountant at the Eastern European Centre for Multiparty Democracy. Before joining EECMD, she worked at the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia in the capacity of Assistant to the Deputy Minister. Prior to that, in 2014-2015 years, she worked as a Financial Officer at the JSI – Georgian branch of Jonh Snow Inc. – USAID Funded SUSTAIN Project. From 2007 to 2014, she served as a Financial Manager at the APLR – Association of Professionals on Land and Realty – USAID Funded Land Market Development Project.  In 2001-2007 years, she worked at the Financial Department of the Association for Protection of Land Owner’s Rights in various positions.

Nino Kochiashvili graduated from Tbilisi Independent University with the degree in Economics ( specialization in the field of Credits and Finances).

Tamar Mameishvili

Tamar Mameishvili the Coordinator of Batumi Democracy School in Adjara, Georgia. Before she joined EECMD, Tamar worked as a Project Coordinator for the Institute of Democracy and as a Media Monitor for the Institute for Polling and Marketing. She also has an experience of working as an Editor of the website “Ajaranews.ge” and as a reporter at the newspaper “Batumelebi.”

Tamar Mameishvili holds a Master Degree in Journalism and Media Management from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA). Her professional interests lay in covering News, theories of media management and public opinion surveys. She does her best to contribute to the development of democratic and tolerant community.

Zaza Chipashvili

Zaza Chipashvili is a Coordinator of Gori Democracy School in Shida Kartli region of Georgia. Earlier, he worked as a coordinator of various social and humanitarian projects at the local NGO – Charity Humanitarian Centre “ABKHAZETI” (CHCA). Through his carrier, he was employed in different public institutions – held the position of the Head of Social Service Regional Agency and Head of Gori Municipality Social Department.

Zaza Chipashvili holds a Master degree in Local Governance and Self-government from the Georgian Institution of Public Affairs (GIPA). He also graduated from the Tskhinvali State Pedagogical Institute, the faculty of History and Philology.

Nikoloz Sharvashidze

Nikoloz Sharvashidze is a Coordinator of Telavi Democracy School in Kakheti Region. Before joining EECMD, he was working for Telavi Division of National Statistics Office of Georgia with Millennium Challenge Georgia Impact Evaluation Project. He used to work for Youth Affairs Department of Local Government of Telavi Municipality. Nikoloz Sharvashidze has an experience of working with government institutions, as well as at various international projects.

Nikoloz Sharvashidze holds Master Degree in Diplomacy and History of International Relations from the Telavi Jakob Gogebashvili State University. He graduated from the same university with the Bachelor Degree in History of the World and Diplomacy.

Kate Bibileishvili

Kate Bibileishvili is the Coordinator of Kutaisi Democracy School.  Before joining the Eastern European Center for Multiparty Democracy, she worked for many International Non-Governmental Organizations such as Management System International (USAID) (2011-2014); East West Management Institute (USAD) (2015-2018); Civic Engagement Center/Kutaisi (2018), ODIHR/OSCE Election Observation Mission Georgia Presidential Election (2018) with Long Term Observers etc.

Kate graduated from Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli State University, faculty of foreign languages and holds a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature. She participated in various Local and International Training Programs

Tamta Jolokhava

Tamta Jolokhava works as a Programs Assistant for the Democracy Education Program at the Eastern European Centre for Multiparty Democracy.

Tamta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Tbilisi State University and a Master’s Degree in International Economic Relations from the University of Szeged, Hungary. During her BA years, she studied as an exchange student at Charles University in Prague, where she did an internship at the Embassy of Georgia to the Czech Republic.  She also held another internship at the Office of the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration. Tamta’s particular interests include EU policy and EU institutions, women’s participation in socio-political life and gender equality issues.

Teona Japoshvili

Teona Japoshvili works as a Program Assistant for the Political Party Assistance Program. Before she joined the EECMD, Teona worked as an invited specialist at the Training Center of the Parliament of Georgia. Earlier, she was a Parliamentary Program Fellow at National Democratic Institute (NDI) and before that, she worked as an NDI intern at Tbilisi City Assembly.

Teona has successfully graduated from the Tbilisi State University and holds a Bachelor Degree in International Relations and a Master’s Degree in Social and Political Sciences. She was also part of exchange program at Vytautas Magnus University of Lithuania (2015-16) and Sapienza University of Rome (2017).

Soso Tordia

Soso Tordia works as a Logistics and Transport Assistant at the Eastern European Centre for Multiparty Democracy. Before joining the EECMD, during 2003-2014 years, he worked for the Welfare Foundation in the capacity of Logistics Manager. Prior to that, he worked as a Loan Officer at the NGO “Union for Trust”. Soso further worked for various national and international organizations in the capacity of an administrative assistant and driver-logistician.

Soso Tordia graduated from Sokhumi Subtropical Enterprise University with the major in Mechanical Engineering.

Yuliia Tymchyk

Yuliia Tymchyk is a Coordinator of EECMD Democracy School in Odesa, Ukraine. Before joining the EECMD Yullia worked as a Project assistant in UNHCR project in Odessa Oblast and as a project coordinator in the IOM project for building capacity and cohesion among IDP and local population in Odessa and Mykolaiv regions. Since 2015, member of the Youth Council at the Odessa City Mayor, the chairman of the commission on innovation and project activity.

In 2015, she received her Master’s Degree from the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration majoring in Project Management.

Oleksiy Rogovyk

Oleksiy Rogovyk is a Coordinator of Lviv Democracy School in Ukraine. Before he joined the EECMD Oleksiy worked as regional analyst and journalist-investigator of the CHESNO public movement in Lviv region, Coordinator of the Lviv Anti-Corruption Forum Initiative (2016-2019), Expert in the UPLAN network of the Center for Political and Legal Reforms, Expert of the Advocacy Working Group of Coalition to Protect Civil Society in Ukraine and the Head of the Free Voice Information Analysis Center (2014). Global Ukraine News Project Coordinator (2015-2016) and the President of NGO “Young Diplomacy Center” (2013-2014).

Oleksiy Rogovyk graduated from the Lviv I. Franko National University with a major in International Relations. He also holds a Master’s Degree in International Law. Oleksyi is currently a PhD Candidate in International Law at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv

Oksana Lesyk

Oksana Lesyk is EECDM Program Coordinator in Ukraine, based in Kyiv. 2016-2019 Oksana provided an expertise on Public Administration Reform as a Senior Project Manager in Reform Support Team at the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. 2014-2016 Oksana worked as a Lead Sourcing Specialist at Alexander Mann Solutions (UK talent acquisition leader), in Cracow, Poland.  2012-2014 Oksana was responsible for Human Resources development and recruitment in OSF Global Services, leading global commerce solutions company with its services in North America, Europe, Latin America and APAC.

Oksana graduated from the Faculty of International Relations from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Valeriia Didkovska

Valeriia Didkovska works as a Coordinator of Democracy School in Dnipro, Ukraine. Previously worked as press-at-ache for political parties and communication adviser at Programm «U-Lead with Europe», supporting administration reform in Ukraine. Since 2014 she actively participates in civil life of the region, leader of local NGO making projects on gender equality, free media and civil society development.

Valeriia Didkovska did her Master degree in Political Science at Vilnius University, Lithuania. Currently she is a PHD candidate at Dnipropetrovsk regional institute of public administration.

Anatoliy Mishyn

Anatoliy Mishyn is a coordinator of Poltava Democracy School. Previously, he worked for Poltava branch of National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine, on different positions, including editor-of-chief of the TV channel. Mr. Mishyn worked as a correspondent of BBC (Ukrainian Service) in Poltava region. Besides, he was a Head of the Media Relations Division in Poltava regional administration. A. Mishyn is a member of the NGO “Institute of Gender transformation” of Ukraine.

Anatoliy Mishyn graduated from Poltava V. Korolenko National Pedagogical University with a Master’s degree in Journalism and History.
